A modern lawyer rating system designed for legal directories and consumers who want to identify trusted lawyers quickly, clearly, and with greater confidence.
Our new Fantastic Lawyers Rating™ (FLR) system is currently available in beta. Any lawyer can generate their own rating here to see how they score. This is a work in progress, and we welcome all feedback to improve it.

Modern AI Lawyer Ratings
“This is a first step toward making lawyer ratings more modern, AI-enhanced, data-driven, and accessible,” said Gav Ward, Founder of Fantastic Lawyers. “We are inviting the legal community to try the beta, stress test it, and help us refine the model with real-world feedback.”
Note: FLR™ is a research-based guide, not legal advice and not a guarantee of outcome.

FAQs: Fantastic Lawyer Rating (FLR™)
What is the Fantastic Lawyer Rating (FLR™)?
FLR™ is an AI-powered lawyer rating used by legal directories to highlight trusted lawyers based on the strength of their verifiable online profile.
How does the AI GPT determine the score?
Our proprietary model evaluates experience, results, independent client reviews, peer recognition, publications, and profile completeness using standardized factors.
What does a 90%+ rating mean?
A 90%+ rating indicates a Fantastic lawyer: consistently strong trust signals, verified credibility, and a standout public profile.
Do lawyers pay to improve their FLR™?
No. Payment does not influence the score. Ratings are generated from verifiable public information only.
How often are ratings updated?
Ratings are periodically refreshed as significant new information becomes available, including awards, notable decisions, reviews, and publications.
Is FLR™ a guarantee of legal outcomes?
No. FLR™ is an evidence-based guide to help people shortlist lawyers. Outcomes always depend on the facts and circumstances of the matter.
Can a lawyer request a review of their rating?
Yes. If public facts are missing or inaccurate, updated sources can be submitted for verification and review.
On Fantastic Lawyers Rating Scoring
Score range: 70%–100%. Lawyers rated 90%+ are considered Fantastic – leaders in their field with consistent results and strong trust signals. Ratings of 80%–89% indicate Excellent performance, while 70%–79% reflects Very Good standing backed by solid evidence.
No one is perfect, so there is no 100% rating. 99% is the highest possible score.
