Career and Background

Scott studied Scots and English Law and completed his Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Strathclyde. He joined Clarity Simplicity in January 2020 as a Legal Assistant while completing his Diploma, before progressing to a Trainee Solicitor role later that year and then qualifying as a solicitor with the firm.

During his studies, Scott gained experience through a range of work placements across Scottish law firms and English in-house legal teams, giving him a broad understanding of legal practice.

Before pursuing a legal career, Scott was a professional footballer, playing for St Johnstone Football Club during a historic period which included winning the club’s first major honour in 2014. He later continued playing semi-professional football while training and studying law.

Outside the Office

Outside of work, Scott remains passionate about sport. He continues to play semi-professional football and enjoys spending time on the golf course.
