Additionally, Carolyn has served as a director on the not-for-profit board of the Toronto chapter of Women in eDiscovery. She is also a member of the Sedona Canada Working Group 7 and played a role in drafting The Sedona Canada Principles Addressing Electronic Discovery, Third Edition.

Passionate about innovation and access to justice, Carolyn joined the Ontario e-Hearings Taskforce in 2020. This task force acts as a consultative forum between the Ontario bench and bar, focusing on implementing efficient electronic, remote, and hybrid hearings due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The task force published the second version of its "Best Practices for Remote Hearings" in May 2021, providing comprehensive guidance for remote hearing preparations.

Carolyn's expertise is recognized in the 2023 edition of Who's Who Legal: Canada, specifically in the category of Litigation - e-Discovery. Her contributions continue to support Consilio's mission of delivering exceptional eDiscovery, document review, and legal consulting services globally.
