Carolyn Anger is a Senior Director at Consilio, a global leader in eDiscovery, document review, and legal consulting services. Based in Toronto, Canada, Consilio has professionals and data centers spanning North America, Europe, and the Asia Pacific region. Carolyn specializes in eDiscovery strategy and management at Consilio, providing clients with technical and practical guidance on efficient and cost-effective methods for responding to discovery requests and conducting digital evidence investigations.

In addition to her work in discovery mandates, Carolyn collaborates with corporate entities to develop Information Governance (IG) and discovery programs. Leveraging her specialized knowledge, she helps strengthen compliance and security measures while optimizing legal operations. Carolyn's dedication to enhancing organizations' capabilities in IG and discovery promotes compliance and safeguards against potential risks.

Carolyn holds key positions in industry associations. She is a founding member and president of the Toronto chapter of the Association of Certified eDiscovery Specialists (ACEDS) and has contributed to developing the association's certification program for the Canadian market. Additionally, Carolyn has served as a director on the not-for-profit board of the Toronto chapter of Women in eDiscovery. She is also a member of the Sedona Canada Working Group 7 and played a role in drafting The Sedona Canada Principles Addressing Electronic Discovery, Third Edition.

Passionate about innovation and access to justice, Carolyn joined the Ontario e-Hearings Taskforce in 2020. This task force acts as a consultative forum between the Ontario bench and bar, focusing on implementing efficient electronic, remote, and hybrid hearings due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The task force published the second version of its "Best Practices for Remote Hearings" in May 2021, providing comprehensive guidance for remote hearing preparations.
