I have managed government affairs matters involving insurers and international banks.

I work with federal regulators, including the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), OCC, Federal Reserve Board (FRB,) and Federal Insurance Office (FIO). I arrange for the industry meetings with the CFPB and FIO. I am a primary life insurance industry author of several provisions in the national insurance models.

I have run departments as well as businesses and consistently maintained a budget surplus. I have provided the following to insurers: overseen litigation, arbitrated cases, deposed witnesses, provided coverage analysis and opinions, set claims reserves, provided marketing support, liquidated insurers, served as a market conduct examiner, advised on federal and state compliance, and drafted briefs in federal and state courts, including an amicus curiae brief to the United States Supreme Court.
