“When it comes to legal issues for technology companies, I’ve been there, done that.

I enable clients to focus on business through an appropriate understanding of risk, practical advice, and a sense of humor. As the senior counsel for the Americas region, I am driving process improvements to help an undersized legal department support a roughly $1B regional business. I am supporting the transformation of ams-OSRAM from a traditional manufacturer to an advanced technology leader, i.e. from lightbulbs to LIDAR. This included the spin-out of our traditional lighting business through the creation of a 115-year-old start-up, and going forward as ams-OSRAM, a global leader in sensing and photonics technology. I am also involved in regional M&A activity and corporate governance.

For the past ten years, it has been my privilege to provide legal support to Fertility Within Reach, a non-profit devoted to increasing access to health benefits for fertility treatment and preservation. Recently I assisted a youth theatre company with incorporation and obtaining tax-exempt status. I try to stay connected to the next generation of lawyers by judging student competitions at Boston College Law School.

Outside of the office, when I am not at a kid’s sporting event or play, you’ll usually find me behind a camera or a power tool. Looking forward to traveling more.”
