Ramsay Kershaw is a Solicitor and Legal Link Team Lead, based at West George Street in Glasgow. He combines strong litigation skills with a key strategic role in developing and managing solicitor-to-solicitor referral relationships.

What Ramsay Does

Ramsay works within the Litigation department, building on several years of experience gained in the firm’s Trust Management team. His background gives him a well-rounded understanding of complex case handling, client care and procedural detail.

In addition to his litigation work, Ramsay plays a central role in the growth of the firm’s solicitor-to-solicitor referral scheme, JW Legal Link. He coordinates closely with partner firms to foster collaborative, long-term relationships that support positive outcomes for clients.

Education and International Experience

Ramsay graduated from the University of Strathclyde with a first-class LLB (Hons). He later completed his Diploma in Legal Practice after returning to university. He is fluent in Spanish at C1 level, having studied law at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and achieved distinction in Spanish-English translation and interpretation.

This international academic experience allows Ramsay to support matters involving cross-border elements and Spanish-speaking clients with confidence and clarity.
