She has deep experience defending putative class actions, including claims involving contract disputes, consumer protection statutes and allegations related to fees described as junk fees or drip pricing.
She also routinely represents owners, operators and management companies in hotel and real estate management disputes involving termination rights, performance issues, fiduciary duties and property-level operational conflicts. - Obtaining complete dismissal on standing in an ERISA putative class action involving alleged fiduciary breaches and prohibited transactions arising from a $200 million ESOP transaction.
- Managing defence for a national mortgage lender in multiple putative class actions arising from an alleged data breach.
- Representing the manufacturer of an automated parking system in a wrongful death lawsuit.
- Securing favourable resolution in arbitration and litigation for a hotel management company.
- Representing landlords, tenants and developers in lease disputes and breach of contract litigation, including matters involving force majeure and COVID-19-related restrictions.
- Acting for an international engineering, procurement and construction contractor in a multibillion-dollar ICC arbitration involving a major infrastructure project with more than $4 billion at issue.
- Representing a television distributor in breach of contract litigation through trial and subsequent appeal.
