Before calling to the Bar, Emma spent seven years at CMS, progressing from trainee solicitor to senior associate. She also worked as a Legal Assistant at the Scottish Law Commission, contributing to work on contract and trusts. She holds an LL.B (First Class Honours) and Diploma in Professional Legal Practice from the University of Strathclyde.
